Fixing Scratches in Faux Leather
· 1 minFabric markers.
They don’t have to be a perfect color match, good enough is good enough in these instances. Faux leather most often consists of a plastic attached to fabric. Scratches expose this fabric. By painting over them with a fabric marker, and then immediately wiping (e.g. with your thumb), you will dye the fabric beneath the leather without staining the leather itself.

Cat owners probably know the pain just all too well.

If you know where to look, you can make out the spots I fixed here. Without close scrutiny, under daily usage conditions, it’s imperceptible.
